I am proud of the teaching and support we offer at Downing but we always want to do more, and I’m glad I can play a part in supporting that. 

 I'm very happy to make my contribution to this fundraising endeavour with fond memories of my time at Downing and acknowledging that the individual financial pressures on students today are much greater than when I was at the College.

  Thank you for the opportunities I have had because I was at Downing. I hope these can be shared with more students from less advantaged backgrounds.
